About
This clinically informed program introduces the cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) model for understanding the links between thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviour. Participants learn to identify automatic thoughts, cognitive distortions, self-critical patterns, avoidance, and safety behaviours that can maintain distress. Practical, evidence-based tools include ABC analysis, Thought Diaries, behavioural experiments, calming strategies, and plans for responding to setbacks. The program is educational and supports, rather than replaces, individual assessment or treatment with a qualified mental health professional.
